About 1 month ago I added your 5" Big Exhaust kit w/ muffler to my 2002
Dodge Ram 2500 Standard Output Cummins Diesel truck. Prior to this exhaust
kit I was running just the stock exhaust and stock downpipe. My truck is
fairly modified and putting out 520 hp and 1075 ft lbs of torque in its
current configuration at the rear wheels. This exhaust kit was exactly what
my truck needed and has really done a great job of taking care of the
Exhaust Gas Tempature problems I had prior. Overall after about 1 month of
use it seems that I am seeing about a 200 degree reduction in peak EGT's
with this system. Secondly, I was presently suprised to find the cab noise
has actually decreased with the use of the system with muffler as compared
to my stock exhaust. The dreaded exhaust drone that is notorious on these
trucks is no longer there and my ears thank you!! But, the sound coming
right at the pipe is awesome!! It's mean enough to make a Class 8 rig scurry
to the side of the road in fear!! I also wanted to thank you for your
incredible level of service in answering my questions after the sale when it
came time for installation of this system. I really shopped exhaust kits
and for the dollar you cant beat the value, the welds are good and the
system fits up perfectly. Of all the aftermarket performance products I
have on my truck I can safely say this is probably one of my favorite! Next
year I plan to use this system for my twin turbo setup as the 5" exhaust is
really a must at that point!!
