Program levels 1 thru 3 will remove fuel (defuel) from engine during shifts as needed to keep an un-modified transmission from slipping.
The Xcelerator also retains the stock program so that the truck can
be put back to the original settings if the need arises. By increasing
the efficiency of the engine, Xcelerator increases fuel mileage (2-3 mpg
on average).
